A Fundamental Certification Program in Business Analytics
The Bangalore International Institute of Information Technology (IIITB) in its effort to close the skills gap in Analytics is launching “Analytics Essentials”, a core certification course in Business Analytics.

This program is intended for
- Professionals who want to break / transition to the domain of business analytics.
- Responsible / decision makers who want to use analytics to drive their decision-making process.
Any graduate or postgraduate with quantitative subjects and an aptitude for data is eligible for the program. BA / BSc / BCom / BE / BTech / BCA or MA / MBA / MSc / MTech / ME / MCom / MCA with math / statistics / econometrics / finance / computer science with a minimum of 50% approved grades.

Application procedure:
IIITB has the discretion to shortlist candidates and call candidates for a personal interview prior to final selection. Our courses are designed for a mix of people from a wide range of backgrounds and sectors., and this is essential for the learning procedure and its results. The student guidance team will consider the range of applications (sectors, Professions, background) to ensure that a group of members has an appropriate and diverse mix.
The student counseling team will evaluate
- If the course is suitable for the applicant, because our courses are for people in specific stages of their careers.
- Applicant's commitment to participate in the entire course. This is because if some people cannot attend, this diminishes the experience of other members of the member group.
- The applicant's willingness to work constructively with a diverse group of people.
Duration:
Analytics Essentials is a weekend program and the duration of the program is 12 weeks.
Session times will be between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm on Saturday and classes will be held at the IIITB campus in Electronics City
Contact classes include facilitated sessions, practice lab and interaction with industry experts.
