Welcome back to our frequent blog of Excel functions from A to Z. Today we look at the CUBESETCOUNT function.

La función CUBESETCOUNT

When the workbook is connected to a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services o una Data Source posterior, esta función devuelve el número de ítems de un conjunto.

The CUBESETCOUNT The function uses the following syntax to operate:

The CUBESETCOUNT The function has the following arguments:

  • to place: esto es obligatorio y representa una cadena de texto de una expresión de Microsoft Excel que se evalúa como un conjunto definido por el CUBESET function
  • to place además puede ser el CUBESET function, o una referencia a una celda que contiene el CUBESET function.

It should be noted at the same time that:

  • the CUBESETCOUNT The function is supported only when the workbook is connected to a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services or a later data source.
  • when the CUBESETCOUNT The function evaluates, temporarily display a message “# GETTING_DATA …” in cell before all data is retrieved.

Please, see my examples below:

= CUBESETCOUNT (CUBESET (“Sales”, “[Product].[All Products].Niños “,” Products “, 1,”[Measures].[Sales Amount]”))
