The CHISQ.TEST function
In probability theory and statistics, the chi-square distribution (also chi-square or χ2-distribution) with k degrees of freedom is the distribution of the sum of squares of k independent standard normal random variables. It is one of the most widely used probability distributions in inferential statistics, p.ej in hypothesis tests or in the construction of confidence intervals.
The chi-square distribution is used in common chi-square tests for the goodness of fit of an observed distribution to a theoretical lead., the independence of two qualitative data classification criteria and in estimating the confidence interval for a population standard deviation of a normal distribution from a sample standard deviation.
