Optional arguments
ADD is analogous to an extension of the SUBTOTAL function to the extent that it uses the same function_number arguments, simply by adding eight more. SUBTOTAL allows users to use the 11 functions that include / exclude hidden rows, what results 22 combinations. ADD goes beyond and takes 19 functions and allows eight alternatives for each, what results 152 combinations, and that doesn't even consider reference or array syntax approaches!
Everything sounds, good, tremendously complicated.
