To enter BIOS, you need to use a special key or combination of keys on the keyboard. But if it doesn't work, you will not be able to enter it with the standard method. Here you can find a working keyboard model or enter directly through the operating system interface.
Enter BIOS through operating system interface
It is important to note to understand that this method is only suitable for the most modern versions of Windows: 8, 8.1 Y 10. If you have any other operating system, you will have to find a working keyboard and try to enter in the standard way.
Instructions for logging in through the operating system are as follows:
- Go to “Choices”.and then click on the icon “Update and restore”..
- In the menu on the left, open section “Restore”. and find the title “Special download options”.. There you must click “Recharge now”..
- After restarting the computer, A special menu will open in which you must initially choose “Diagnosis”.and then “Additional parameters”.
- There should be a special item in this section that allows you to start the BIOS without using the keyboard. It is named “UEFI firmware options”..
Unfortunately, this is the only way to enter BIOS without a keyboard. At the same time, some motherboards may have a special login button; should be located on the back of the system unit or next to the keyboard on laptops.
