Open HTML files on Android

Method 1: System tools

First, let's see the capabilities of the Android system. Current versions of “robot verde” have a built-in tool for working with HTML files, available in the menu. “To open with …”. We are going to teach the use of this function with the Android example 10 pure.

1. Run the built-in file manager, that it's called “Records”..
2. Then find the target document, as an example, on the menu “Recent”. or by navigating to the desired folder.
3. Click on the file and a tool will appear “To open with …” with a list of suitable programs. Scroll through the list to the item “Visor HTML” and select it.
4. The utility will display the document as a normal web page.

Method 2: visor HTML

Now we will focus on specialized applications, one of which is HTML Viewer, from developer Yogev Haham.

1. Launch the program and press the file icon button in the upper right corner.
2. HTML Viewer will ask for disk drive access, provide.
3. Using the built-in file manager, navigate to the folder with the saved document, tap to highlight it and tap “To choose”..
4. The file will open for viewing in source code mode.
5. To view it in web mode, press the globe icon.

As we can see, HTML Viewer does an excellent job. The only hindrances to comfortable use can be only the lack of Russian language and the presence of advertisements.

Method 3: reader / visor de HTML

If the above app doesn't suit you for some reason, you can use HTML Reader response / Viewer that provides similar functionality.

1. Open the program and give it all the necessary permissions.
2. Then a message will appear to configure whether to use orientation or not. Select the option that applies to you.
3. Accept the terms of use.
4. The application interface will now be available, showing default file manager: navigate to the location of the target HTML and tap it to open it.
5. The document will start in web view mode: the appearance of the page on the web.

   To see the code of the file, click on “<⁄>“.

This application is similar to the first one we mentioned, but at the same time of the display modes, enables you to open large documents. The disadvantages of HTML Reader / Viewer are also similar: there is no russian language and there is quite annoying advertising.
